Two weeks into the new European football season, the excitement, fireworks, upsets, and goals have been endless.

Our goal, as always, is to continue providing well-researched goalscorer picks every weekend to help you land that big win.

There are some super exciting games this weekend, and here are our five picks.

Erling Haaland vs Brighton

Manchester City suffered a disappointing 2-0 defeat to Tottenham last weekend, and we expect them to use that as fuel to bounce back with a big win against Brighton.

Haaland, who scored twice on the opening weekend, was uncharacteristically quiet against Thomas Frank’s rigid Tottenham defense.

Brighton have looked defensively open, and this fixture usually promises goals, with the over 2.5 goals option cashing in on eight of the last nine meetings. Haaland is our anytime scorer here, as we expect him to produce a much better showing.

Haaland to score anytime @1.95

Kylian Mbappe vs Mallorca

Xabi Alonso’s Real Madrid are yet to concede a goal in La Liga, shutting out Osasuna and Real Oviedo with 1-0 and 3-0 wins respectively.

There is growing excitement among Los Blancos’ support that Alonso is the right man to return the club to continental and Spanish dominance after relinquishing their crown to Barcelona last season.

Mallorca should have no answer for the red-hot Kylian Mbappé, who has scored three goals in the opening two games of the season and is our pick to score anytime in what should be a comfortable home win.

Mbappe to score anytime @1.55

Chris Wood vs West Ham

Graham Potter’s West Ham are in really bad shape, and with questions now being asked about his future after only two games. The Hammers have conceded 11 goals in three games across all competitions, and eight goals in their first two league games.

That porous defence should offer no resistance to a dangerous Nottingham Forest attack, especially Chris Wood, who has continued his excellent form from last season, scoring two in two already.

Forest are the better team, and we are backing Wood to find the net this weekend.

Harry Kane vs Augsburg

Bayern Munich look imperious, and they demonstrated their killer mentality by walloping Leipzig 6-0 on the opening weekend, thanks to a hat-trick by none other than Harry Kane.

The England striker has been unstoppable since leaving Spurs to join the Bundesliga champions in the summer of 2023, winning the Golden Boot in the two seasons since.

Augsburg are not a bad team by any stretch, and they certainly will put up a fight at home, but Bayern, and especially Kane, will have too much for them. There have been 24 goals in the last five meetings between these two sides, and we expect that trend to continue.

Kane to score anytime @1.55

Victor Osimhen vs Rizespor

Galatasaray are heavy favorites to take all three points against Rizespor, and we could witness a big scoreline here.

The Turkish champions have won three out of three games to start the season, scoring 10 goals and conceding none. They certainly look well-equipped to retain their title. Star man and record signing Victor Osimhen made a goalscoring return to the starting lineup in the 4-0 win over Kayserispor and will be expected to lead the line again this weekend.

Osimhen finished last season with 37 goals in all competitions, and there’s no doubt he will be a regular fixture on the scorer’s chart again this season. Back the Nigerian to score anytime.

Osimhen to score anytime @1.45
