FA Cup Final Preview: Manchester City vs Manchester United

Manchester United will face Manchester City in the FA Cup final this weekend in what looks to be a great match. We took a deeper look.

City have a chance to pick up their second piece of silverware this season after winning the English Premier League for the fifth time in six seasons.

United are also on the hunt for their second trophy of the season, after beating Newcastle United in the EFL Cup earlier on in the term.

FA Cup Final

City come into this game with spirits high after their league triumph- they will win the treble if they are successful in both the FA Cup final and Champions League final, where they face Inter Milan.

Erling Haaland has had a record breaking season for City, and has found the back of the net 52 times in 51 appearances in all competitions since signing last summer.

At the halfway stage of the season, Arsenal were sat top of the Premier League table by eight points, but the ruthlessness of the reigning champions proved too much for the Gunners as they finished five points above them.

Erik Ten Hag has certainly had a successful first term in England, having led United to one piece of silverware, Champions League qualification for next term and the FA Cup final.

Marcus Rashford has been the star man for United this season, chipping in with 41 goal contributions in 55 games. The United faithful will certainly be hoping that he can continue this form in the derby.

Although United have already had a successful campaign, they know that they will have to be on the top of their game if they want to beat their fierce rivals and lift the FA Cup on Saturday.

We expect the game to be a tight affair, but predict that City will just nick it. Odds for a City win are 1.54 at Bet9ja. Both sides have been in fine goal scoring form recently- you can get odds for there to be over 1.5 goals at 1.17. With both teams firing on all cylinders and a chance for silverware up for grabs, they will want to start the game well- you can get odds for there to be a goal scored inside the first 20 minutes at 2.13.
