The Super Eagles talisman has missed large chunks of the 2023/24 campaign due to injury, but when he has played, he has displayed class and proven that he is one of the world’s best in his position.
It is looking like the 25-year-old will be parting ways with Napoli in the summer, and there is plenty of top European sides that have shown great interest in bringing him in at their respective clubs.
Vs Frosinone 3-1 (first goal, Serie A)

Osimhen started the 2023/24 campaign in style after he scored a double on the opening day of the season in the Serie A against Frosinone, and his first goal was an emphatic finish.
The ball was laid back to the Nigerian forward just inside the penalty area and Osimhen struck the ball instinctively with a first-time thunderbolt into the roof of the net, which left the goalkeeper with no chance of saving it.
Vs Barcelona 1-1 (first leg, Champions League)

Osimhen got battered and bruised all game against Barcelona in the home leg at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, but he managed to get an equaliser in the 75th minute of the game.
The powerhouse forward spun his defender with ease and rifled an effort past Marc-Andre ter Stegen in the Barcelona net, to make it honours even heading into the return leg at the Nou Camp.
Vs Sassuolo 1-6 (Serie A)

Napoli found themselves a goal behind against Sassuolo last month, but emphatically came back from a goal down to win 6-1, with Osimhen scoring a hat-trick to earn his side all three points.
Napoli’s second goal was Osimhen’s first of the game, after his side broke excellently on the counter-attack, and Osimhen calmly slotted the ball home under pressure, when many others would have snatched at it.
