Domestic football leagues across the globe have paused for the following two weeks with the return of international football taking place for one of the final times before the summer’s UEFA Euro 2024 and CONMEBOL Copa America tournaments happen.

This included the opening six matches of their 2026 World Cup qualifiers, leaving them in the final qualifying spot and just two points above eighth place which would see them fail to qualify for the tournament.
After losing all of their last three games to Argentina, Colombia and Uruguay, Brazil will be looking to return to winning ways against the Three Lions.
Encounters between these two nations have historically been tight affairs, with two of the previous four games ending in draws and England and Brazil winning one each of the remaining two.
