We are heading into the business end of the season and things are hotting up in the English Premier League.
That means plenty of managers will be feeling the heat as the pressure mounts at both ends of the table.
This season there has just been two managers who have been sacked, Paul Heckingbottom and Steve Cooper from Sheffield United and Nottingham Forest respectively.
We take a look at the odds from UK bookmakers for who the favourites are to be sacked next in the Premier League.
Vincent Kompany 7/4
Burnley have had a disappointing first campaign back in the English top flight, winning just three times out of the opening 28 league games so far, and there are question marks over Vincent Kompany’s future at the club.
The Clarets sit 10 points adrift of 17th place and with just 10 games remaining, it would have to be a miraculous turnaround for them to remain on the flight, however the board might feel that if they get a new manager in then they could have a chance of survival.
Chris Wilder 5/1
Chris Wilder was appointed as Sheffield United manager midway through the 2023/24 campaign but is already being tipped as the second favourite to lose his job in the Premier League.
The Blades sit rock bottom and like Burnley, the chances of them staying in the top flight are looking slim, so the club might be looking to get a new gaffer in the door to prepare for next season and the future at the club.
Erik ten Hag 5/1
Erik ten Hag is the next man on the list who could get the boot, after he has had a disappointing second campaign in charge at Manchester United with his side currently sitting sixth in the top flight.
The Red Devils sit eight points off the top four, so if they did manage to get a new manager in the door who could get the best out of the players for the final run in, then they could achieve UEFA Champions League qualification for next term.
