As round four of the UEFA Nations League group stage continues on Monday, football fans are gearing up for a number of thrilling clashes that could shape the future of their teams in the tournament.
With crucial points on the line as each team battles it out for either a place in the playoffs, promotion or to simply avoid relegation, every game is sure to be tightly contested.
In this article, we will be taking a closer look at a number of the matches taking place on Monday, picking out our top tips and booking codes:
Germany vs Netherlands
Germany are set to face the Netherlands for the second time in League A Group 3, having drawn 2-2 in the previous meeting during the September international break.
These two sides have enjoyed a number of extremely tight encounters in recent years, with both teams winning one of the last four each while the remaining two matches ended all square.
We expect a similar pattern in this game, with both teams struggling to get the upper hand over the other, but with Germany boasting the home advantage, where they have not lost in normal time since November 2023, we believe the hosts will win here.
Germany to win, 1.80 – 3286C
Belgium vs France
Belgium and France will face off in what could be a huge match in how League A Group 2 concludes, with both teams currently battling it out alongside Itay for a place in the top two as they aim for a playoff place.
Belgium looked beaten when they went 2-0 down against Italy early in the first half of their last game, but a red card to Italy allowed Belgium back into the game as they came back to draw 2-2.
France, on the other hand, were dominant in their last outing against Israel, running out 4-1 winners in a comfortable game. France also beat Belgium comfortably in their last meeting in September, scoring twice in a 2-0 win, and we expect a similar result here.
France to win, 2.48 – 32CK7
Italy vs Israel
Despite squandering a two-goal lead against Belgium as they drew 2-2, largely due to receiving a red card in the first half, Italy produced a promising performance in that game and are likely to be in good spirits as they prepare for their second game against Israel.
Israel are yet to record a point in League A Group 2, losing all three of their matches with an aggregate score of 9-3, including a 2-1 defeat to Italy in the last international break.
With this, we believe Italy will be out for a big win after a disappointing draw to Belgium, and with Israel low on confidence after a heavy 4-1 defeat to France, we expect a big victory for the Italians.
Italy to win & over 2.5 goals, 1.57 – 32H8X
Ukraine vs Czech Republic
Ukraine and Czech Republic are set to match up for the second time in League B Group 1, with Ukraine aiming to get revenge after they lost 3-2 to their opponents in the reverse fixture in September.
Despite dominating the game, holding 58% of the ball and taking 19 shots to Czech Republic’s 14, Ukraine were unable to capitalise as they ultimately lost for the second time in the group stage.
However, we expect them to be out for vengeance in this one, and with them likely to control the game again, we believe Ukraine will win this one.
