This year’s English Premier League title race has been one of the most entertaining that we have had since its inception in the 1992/93 season.
Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City are all separated by just a single point as we enter into the last 10 games of the season, with Arsenal and Man City still set to play against one another in what could be a title-deciding game come the end of the season.
Read on as we take a look at each of the top three sides’ chances of winning this season’s Premier League title:
1) Arsenal – 64 points
Arsenal, similarly to last season, enter into the last 10 games of this campaign at the top of the table. This time though, they are just a point above third-placed Manchester City and only their superior goal difference of 46 compared to Liverpool’s 39 keeps them above the Reds.
Arsenal are deservedly in the top spot heading towards the closing stages of the season, with them leading the table in multiple key areas. They have won more games than any other side in the league with 20 from their 28 games, while they have also scored five more than the next highest-scoring side with 70 goals. Their defence has seen a massive improvement compared to last season’s performance as well, conceding 24 goals this season which is two less than the next best side.
They do have some tough games remaining this season though, with six of their next ten opponents currently residing in the top half of the table while they are also still to play their rivals Chelsea between now and the end of the season. Included in these is a huge, potential title-deciding game against Manchester City that could end in a big result for any of the three title-challenging sides.

2) Liverpool – 64 points
A poor finish in the 2022/23 Premier League season saw Liverpool end up outside of the UEFA Champions League places, with them managing to salvage a fifth-place finish in the closing stage of the season and grab a Europa League spot.
This time around they have got themselves back into the fight for the title, and many would argue that they are the best positioned side to claim the victory come the end of the season. They trail Arsenal only on goal difference and the other two title challengers having to play against one another will give Liverpool a chance to move ahead in the race.
The Reds have already won one trophy this season as they claimed the EFL Cup with a 1-0 victory over Chelsea, and the news that Jurgen Klopp is set to stand down at the end of the season will give his side plenty of motivation to send the long-standing manager out on a high.
Despite not having to play either Arsenal or Manchester City in their run-in, Liverpool still have a tough set of fixtures that they will have to successfully navigate as they must also face six of the current top 10.

3) Manchester City – 63 points
Pep Guardiola’s side enter into the final ten games of the season as the third-placed side and a point behind both Arsenal and Liverpool. However, with City’s huge success in recent seasons, it would be easy to suggest they are still the favourites for the title.
Man City are searching for their fourth successive Premier League title, which would become a record number of back-to-back title victories if they are to achieve this extraordinary feat.
They come into these final games in their best form of the season so far having lost just one of their last 31 games, with this coming as a 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa in the early part of December last year.
City, similarly to the two other sides, have six of the top 10 to play in their last matches of the season, but Guardiola’s side are notorious for their ability to put together a large run of victories in the final stages of the season to claim titles and trophies.
While Liverpool, Arsenal and Man City are sure to fight tooth and nail until the end of the season, it’s hard to bet against the Citizens and we believe they will still go on to win this Premier League title and make history in doing so.
