The ever-exciting January transfer deadline day is this Thursday and over the years, there have been some world-class signings.
There has not been an abundance of business completed so far in the English Premier League this January, but we could be supplied with some excitement over the course of the final day.

Luis Suarez
Ajax – Liverpool
Luis Suarez signed for Liverpool on deadline day in 2011, and he will go down as one of the best players to ever wear the famous shirt, after he notched an astonishing 120 goal involvements in 110 league appearances.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
Borussia Dortmund – Arsenal
Aubameyang joined the Gunners in 2018 from Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund, and he went on to be the clubs captain whilst playing a crucial in the club’s FA Cup glory in 2019/20, and Arsenal’s fastest ever player to reach 50 league goals, in 79 appearances.
Philippe Coutinho
Inter Milan – Liverpool
Coutinho was lured to Anfield in 2013 from Inter Milan, and he went on to be a real fans favourite, picking up two club Player of the Season awards and went on to be sold to Barcelona for a profitable fee of £142m, five years after signing.
Virgil van Dijk
Southampton – Liverpool
Van Dijk completely transformed Liverpool football club when he signed from Southampton in 2018, and he has been an instrumental part to the clubs success since, winning the UEFA Champions League and Premier League during his Reds career.
Nemanja Vidic
Spartak Moscow – Manchester United
Vidic made the PFA Team of the Year four times during his eight seasons with Manchester United and was a crucial part to the clubs success, after he won five Premier League titles and one Champions League in a United shirt.
