Gameweek six saw fewer points scored by many of the top performers in the Bet9ja League compared to the higher scores previously received, resulting in Kehinde Mustapha’s MK keeping their place at the top of the league.

MK now sits on a healthy total of 481 points, 10 more than second place, after scoring a solid 62 points throughout gameweek six.

MK played their ‘Wildcard’ chip ahead of gameweek seven, and it certainly paid off as Antonee Robinson, Bryan Mbeumo, Morgan Rogers, Mohamed Salah and Ollie Watkins all returned healthy point hauls.

They will now be looking ahead to gameweek seven hoping they can retain their place at the top of the standings for a third successive week, aiming to move further away from the chasing pack that is starting to develop just behind.

Best Gameweek Seven Picks

Erling Haaland has rightfully been in nearly everyone’s FPL teams this season, already scoring an outrageous 63 points with 10 goals in his first six outings for Manchester City. Haaland could be an option for captaincy one again this weekend, though Fulham have looked defensively sound in certain matches this term.

With Arsenal set to face Southampton this weekend, tripling up on Gunners players could be a fantastic decision with Gabriel, Kai Havertz, Bukayo Saka and David Raya all brilliant options to add to your team.

Cole Palmer and Dominic Solanke could also rival Haaland for the captaincy, with Palmer coming up against Nottingham Forest on the back of scoring four first-half goals against Brighton, while Solanke will face up against that leaky Brighton defence this weekend.

Elsewhere, Mbeumo and Antoine Semenyo are on phenomenal runs of form that could mean they move into your team, while other options could include Liverpool’s Luiz Diaz and Mohamed Salah or Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers.

FPL’s ‘The Scout’ also includes Kepa Arrizabalaga and Leif Davis in their ideal team for this gameweek, two players who could mark cheaper options to enable premium stars to join your team.
