There have been several players linked with a move to Liverpool this summer as the Reds look to strengthen after a poor 2022/23 season.
Jurgen Klopp saw his side drop off in form last term, after they failed to finish in the top four and missed out on Champions League qualification.
The German has already opted to bring in highly rated Alexis Mac Allister to the club this summer and it is likely that he will make more additions before the window shuts, as the Reds look to get back to challenging for the English Premier League title.
We look at three players who could get Liverpool challenging again.
Victor Osimhen
Victor Osimhen has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League and Liverpool are one of the clubs interested in his signature, alongside Manchester United and Chelsea.
The Nigerian goalscorer found the back of the net an impressive 26 times in 32 Serie A appearances last term so would certainly be a capable replacement for Roberto Firmino in the attacking area.
However, Liverpool might find it hard to lure in world-class talent such as Osimhen this summer as they do not have UEFA Champions League football to contend with next term.
Ryan Gravenberch
Ryan Gravenberch has been linked with a move away from Bayern Munich this summer after he stated his wish to play more regular game time next term.
Fabinho had a below par season last term, along with Jordan Henderson and although Mac Allister has already been introduced, Klopp might be keen to get some more bodies through the door in midfield.
However, the Dutch midfielder has reportedly said that he would prefer to stay at Bayern Munich and with him still being just 21-years-old he would likely cost the Reds a hefty sum.
Benjamin Pavard
Liverpool are reportedly in the market for a right-back this summer and have held initial talks over a deal for Bayern Munich Frenchman Benjamin Pavard.
Trent Alexander-Arnold was used in a midfield role towards the back end of last term and in international games recently, so Klopp could opt to bring in a right-back to make sure that the Englishman can pursue this more attacking role.
However, other Premier League clubs such as Manchester City are reportedly interested in Pavard and this could be a move that could materialise especially if Kyle Walker departs.
