This weekend provides you with the last chance to enjoy the Premier League at Bet9ja before major leagues break for the World Cup.

That makes every match crucial as teams look to make a statement, with the league not returning until Boxing Day.

Will it be Arsenal or Manchester City who will sit pretty at the top of the Premier League for at least the next six weeks? Can any of the bottom three crawl their way out of the relegation zone?

These are just a few of the big questions ahead of the weekend action and you can try answering some of those by making the most of our many markets and great odds for each match at Bet9ja.

Here’s a look at all 10 games for matchday 15:

Newcastle vs Chelsea

Saturday 12th November, 18:30

What a difference a year makes. After 14 Premier League matches this time last season, Newcastle were rock bottom on seven points and were still waiting to spend a penny of the newly-inherited Saudi money. Meanwhile, Chelsea were top of the league and genuine title contenders after 13 matches, playing some scintillating football under Thomas Tuchel.

Fast forward a year and more than £200m later, the Magpies are flying under Eddie Howe, sitting in third position after 14 matches played and in with a real shot of qualifying for the UEFA Champions League for the first time since 2003. But for Chelsea, they look anything but the title contenders of last year under new manager Graham Potter. It’s now just two wins from the last seven matches in all competitions and no win in four league games, which sees the Blues underwhelming in seventh.

The transformation under Howe has been nothing short of exceptional. Of course, the big money helps, but it’s two familiar faces who have been key to Newcastle’s success. Miguel Almirón has arguably been one of the standout performers in the Premier League so far this season. His eight goals from 14 matches put him joint fourth in the top scorers charts, including memorable strikes in recent victories over Southampton, Aston Villa, Tottenham and Everton.

The Geordies have won four in a row, with Almirón netting in each of them and looking hard to stop. Then there’s Callum Wilson. Since signing from Bournemouth in 2020, Wilson has struggled with injuries. A total of 12 goals in his first season showed glimpses of his class, and this season, he’s netted six times in 10 appearances, earning a spot in England’s World Cup squad. He will be integral to Newcastle’s hopes of Champions League qualification.

Former Brighton boss Potter might have started life at Chelsea unbeaten in nine, but draws with Brentford and Manchester United followed by defeats to Brighton and Arsenal have put Chelsea on the back foot in the top-four race. Performances have also been lacklustre in recent times, lacking the energy and creativity that we’ve been used to seeing in recent years. The likes of Raheem Sterling and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang haven’t lived up to expectations since signing in the summer, and both need to put in a positive display in their last chance before the break.

Chelsea have won the past four meetings between the two sides, with Newcastle last beating Chelsea in January 2020, which was a 1-0 victory at St James’ Park.

Newcastle are favourites at Bet9ja, with odds of 2.35 for the win. Recent form makes it hard to bet against them. Wilson is 2.75 to score at any time and 5.80 to be first goalscorer, which grabs our attention.

Bet9ja odds (at time of writing): Newcastle win: 2.35, Draw: 3.40, Chelsea win: 3.10

Tottenham vs Leeds

Saturday 12th November, 16:00

Tottenham go into their last game before the World Cup break in the top four, although they will be looking for an improvement on recent performances when they face a Leeds United team on good form on Saturday.

Antonio Conte’s home team have only managed two wins in their last seven games, and have lost both of the last two. They have secured a place in the Last 16 of the Champions League however, and sit fourth in the table, matching their final position from last season.

The cause for concern comes from frequent poor starts to matches. Within that run of two wins from seven, they have conceded the first goal in all of those matches, forcing themselves to rely on strong second-half performances, with differing fortunes. In their last two league games, they came back from 2-0 down to win 2-3 at Bournemouth, but were then unable to do the same to Liverpool in a 1-2 home defeat last week.

Despite seeming to favour a defensive style of football, Conte is still seeing his team leak goals. From the current top eight Premier League teams, only Manchester United (19) have conceded more than Tottenham’s 18. Losing 2-0 at Nottingham Forest in the EFL Cup on Wednesday will also have dented momentum.

Leeds also exited the EFL Cup in midweek with a 1-0 defeat at Wolves, but that followed thrilling league victories away to Liverpool (1-2) and at home to Bournemouth, where they came back from 1-3 down to grab a 4-3 win.

Those two triumphs followed a disappointing run of games however, where Leeds hadn’t won in eight and suffered four straight defeats before that surprise win at Liverpool. They are difficult to predict, but they have scored and conceded in their last three league games and have only kept two clean sheets all season.

Recent form suggests goals are to be expected in this one, and we’re looking at Tottenham to win with both teams to score at 2.96 with Bet9ja. Given Tottenham’s recent poor starts in games, we’re also taking a look at half time/full time odds of 4.80 on Draw/Tottenham and 22.00 on Leeds/Tottenham.

Bet9ja odds (at time of writing): Tottenham win: 1.67, Draw: 4.20, Leeds win: 4.90

Manchester City vs Brentford

Saturday 12th November, 13:30

Manchester City have won all of their last 16 home games stretching back to April, scoring a staggering 61 goals in the process. Brentford have secured just one win in their last nine games and are yet to win an away league game this season. A Manchester City win with a -2 handicap of 1.95 stands out in the opening game of the weekend.

Bet9ja odds (at time of writing): Man City win: 1.14, Draw: 8.70, Draw: 18.00

Bournemouth vs Everton

Saturday 12th November, 16:00

The two teams meet at the Vitality Stadium for the second time this week, after Bournemouth ended a run of four straight defeats by beating Everton 4-1 in the EFL Cup on Tuesday. The hosts have scored nine goals in their last three games, but have not kept a clean sheet in their last seven. Everton have never won a league game at Bournemouth and have recorded just one clean sheet in their last eight games. Both teams to score and over 2.5 goals is priced at 2.34.

Bet9ja odds (at time of writing): Bournemouth win: 2.80, Draw: 3.25, Everton win: 2.64

Liverpool vs Southampton

Saturday 12th November, 16:00

Victory at Tottenham arrested a run of two straight losses for Liverpool, one of which was to Leeds in the last Premier League outing at Anfield. Southampton are 18th and are on a three-match winless run. Nathan Jones takes charge of the Saints, who will be looking for a first league win at Anfield since 2013, for the first time. His Luton team were hard to play against, so expect the same here. A Liverpool win and under 2.5 goals at 4.75 might be tempting at Bet9ja.

Bet9ja odds (at time of writing): Liverpool win: 1.26, Draw: 6.50, Southampton win: 10.50

Nottingham Forest vs Crystal Palace

Saturday 12th November, 16:00

Forest may have had a difficult start to the season, as they are currently bottom of the table, but they have won two of their last three home games, drawing the other one. Palace are on great form in the league though, winning four, drawing one and losing one in their last six. Recent results may point to a draw at 3.20.

Bet9ja odds (at time of writing): Forest win: 3.05, Draw: 3.20, Palace win: 2.48

West Ham vs Leicester

Saturday 12th November, 16:00

Three wins in four have lifted Leicester above Saturday’s opponents West Ham into 14th. The Hammers have lost three in four, with European football catching up with them. The hosts have won the last two meetings between the two at the London Stadium, but a Leicester win at 3.60 is more appealing. James Maddison has six goals this season, which earned him a World Cup spot with England. He is 4.75 to score anytime.

Bet9ja odds (at time of writing): West Ham win: 2.10, Draw: 3.45, Leicester win: 3.60

Wolves vs Arsenal

Saturday 12th November, 20:45

League leaders Arsenal have lost just one league game so far this season and are seven unbeaten. Wolves are struggling in 19th and have lost three of their last four matches, drawing the other. However, with two wins in the past four meetings, Wolves have provided Arsenal with some issues in recent times. Could a draw at 4.30 be tempting in what is an unpredictable league?

Bet9ja odds (at time of writing): Wolves win: 6.20, Draw: 4.30, Arsenal win: 1.54

Brighton vs Aston Villa

Sunday 13th November, 15:00

Brighton are on an excellent run, as their first win under Roberto De Zerbi’s leadership over Chelsea has been followed by two more against Wolves in the league and Arsenal in the EFL Cup. Those three successes have included an impressive 10 goals. Villa made a great start with their new manager Unai Emery last week, beating Manchester United 3-1, but they are yet to win an away league game this season. You can get odds of 2.01 on 3-5 goals in what appears an exciting fixture.

Bet9ja odds (at time of writing): Brighton win: 1.86, Draw: 3.75, Villa win: 4.20

Fulham vs Manchester United

Sunday 13th November, 17:30

Defeat at Aston Villa last week ended a five-match unbeaten run in the league for Manchester United. Currently fifth, Erik ten Hag’s men need three points to keep up with the top four, but face a Fulham side who are ninth with just one defeat from five. The last time the hosts beat Man United was in 2009, which is why the visitors are under 2.0 to get back to winning ways.

Bet9ja odds (at time of writing): Fulham win: 3.80, Draw: 3.85, Man Utd win: 1.92
