Wednesday sees the UEFA Champions League round of 16 come to an end, leaving us with the final two victorious teams who will move into the quarter-finals of this year’s tournament.
There are two big games on Wednesday as Borussia Dortmund play PSV and Inter Milan travel to Atletico Madrid.

Borussia Dortmund vs PSV
The first leg between these two sides ended in stalemate as former PSV man Donyell Malen opened the scoring before veteran striker Luuk de Jong equalised from the spot. This leaves the game all square heading into the second leg where Borussia Dortmund will hold the home advantage with Signal Iduna Park hosting the match.
Dortmund have had a tougher season this time around compared to last campaign, finding themselves fourth in the league after 25 games. Their home form sees them sit as the sixth-best side in the Bundesliga when playing in front of their own crowd, but just three losses at the Signal Iduna Park will give them plenty of confidence heading into this tie.
PSV are bound to make the game difficult for the German side, especially with the Dutch club in such good form in the Eredivisie this season with them still yet to be beaten. However, the power of Dortmund’s ‘Yellow Wall’ will certainly play a part in helping push Dortmund to victory and we believe they will take the win and progress into the quarter-finals.

Atletico Madrid vs Inter
Inter won the first leg in Italy thanks to a winner from substitute striker Marko Arnautovic in a game that could have seen the tie be completely wrapped up with the current Serie A leaders showing complete domination throughout. Atletico were able to hold on though and they will now host the second leg at the Civitas Metropolitano.
The current status of the tie will result in the Spanish side having to attack more as they look to get back in the game, giving Inter a big chance to score more as the match opens up more. One player who will be looking to make the most of this extra space will be Lautaro Martinez.
The Argentinian striker has been absolutely superb this season, scoring a massive 23 goals in 25 appearances in the league and another three across the cup competitions. Four goals in his last five games leaves him in fantastic form coming into this one, and we expect him to continue his goalscoring run and get on the scoresheet in this one.
