Top Booking Code For Today’s FA Cup Matches

The FA Cup third round kicked off last night as Crystal Palace took on Everton at Selhurst Park, and the drama continues today with three more games before the remaining 28 games take place over the weekend and Monday night.

With the English Premier League teams entering the competition at this stage, 64 teams were drawn across 32 matches. Even with this we have been given multiple Premier League matchups, and two of those happen later today as Brentford host Wolverhampton Wanderers and Burnley travel to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The third match of the day sees EFL Championship side Rotherham United face up against Fulham.

Read on as we pick out our top tips and booking codes for tonight’s FA Cup action:

Wolverhampton Wanderers to win, 2.82

Brentford vs Wolverhampton Wanderers

Brentford will be looking to enact revenge after they endured a 4-1 loss to Wolves just over a week ago. This was Brentford’s fourth straight defeat in as many games and they have since lost 3-1 to Crystal Palace making it five losses in a row. For Wolves this was their second league win in a row, the first time they have managed this in the 2023/24 season and they have gone on to make it three with a 3-0 crushing of Everton.

Wolves will take huge confidence from this win and their greater form coming into the game as well as their superior head-to-head record over Brentford in recent meetings, recording six wins and two draws against the Bee’s in the last 10 matches.

While both sides could make wholesale changes that make this game a much tighter affair than that from a week ago, we believe that Wolves’ positive momentum will push them to victory come the end of the game.

Fulham to win, 1.21

Fulham vs Rotherham United

Fulham are coming into their FA Cup game having just beaten London rivals Arsenal 2-1 and will be feeling good about their chances of progressing past Championship side Rotherham United. While Fulham may already have eyes on their upcoming EFL Cup semi-final against Liverpool, they will have to keep focused on this one if they are to avoid a shock defeat.

Rotherham currently sit bottom of the Championship table with the worst defensive record of any side in the league. However, new boss Leam Richardson has been able to guide his team to a three game unbeaten run after initially losing his first three games in charge. Richardson will be hoping he can continue this form and take Rotherham to their first FA Cup fourth round appearance since 2001/02.

While we do expect Rotherham will try to make this a frustrating and difficult game for the Cottagers, we believe Fulham will simply have too much quality and go on to claim the victory.

Richarlison to score anytime, 2.15

Tottenham Hotspur vs Burnley

Richarlison has burst into life in recent weeks with it looking like he has finally ignited his career at Spurs. Five goals in his last five games has resulted in the Brazilian doubling his total goal tally since joining Tottenham back in July 2022.

Under new boss Ange Postecoglou’s reign Spurs have produced the third most shots on target of any side in the Premier League, recording 6.1 per 90. Richarlison has certainly benefitted from this with the striker managing 3.82 shots per 90 this season compared to just 2.42 last season.

With this, we believe that Richarlison will get the chances he needs to score once again against a Burnley side who have conceded the second most goals of any team in the Premier League so far this season.
