Top Booking Code For Wednesday’s La Liga Matches

Last night hosted the return of La Liga in 2024, and it did not disappoint with the highlights including three red cards across the three games and a 96th minute equaliser for Real Sociedad against Alaves.

The action continues tonight with the biggest game of the matchday as this season’s surprise package Girona host Atletico Madrid in a second versus third place clash.

With this and three other games set to take place, we’ve picked out our top tips and booking code for tonight’s La Liga matches:

Granada and Cadiz CF to draw, 3.10

Granada vs Cadiz CF

Granada and Cadiz have both really struggled to pick up points this season, with both finding themselves in a relegation battle at the mid-way point of the campaign. Granada currently sit 19th with just eight points while Cadiz are two points above the relegation zone with 15 points in 17th.

Cadiz are coming into this game having drawn all of their last five league games, while Granada have also drawn four of their last six home games. With the tendency for the games between these two to also end in draws, with four of the last five meetings ended in stalemate, we believe this one will end all square as well.

Celta Vigo and Real Betis to draw, 3.25

Celta Vigo vs Real Betis

Another two sides with a fondness for drawing in recent games are Celta Vigo and Real Betis. Celta have drawn three of their last five league games, while also drawing four of their last six home games. Betis have drawn all of their last four league games, as well as three of their last five away games across all competitions.

With all of this, we firmly expect this game to end in yet another draw for both of these sides.

Jude Bellingham to score anytime, 2.60

Real Madrid vs RCD Mallorca

Everyone knew how talented Jude Bellingham was prior to joining Real Madrid, but no one quite expected how quickly the Englishman would adapt to life in Spain. 13 goals and two assists in his first 16 league appearances as well as four goals and three assists in five UEFA Champions League appearances has left Bellingham as Real Madrid’s top scorer so far this season. Bellingham has shown no signs of slowing down in recent games either, recording three goals and two assists in his last six games and for this reason we expect the midfield sensation to score once again in this one.

Girona to win, 2.62

Girona vs Atletico Madrid

Talking of unexpected sensations, Girona have taken La Liga by storm this season as they sit level on points with Real Madrid at the top of the table. Boasting the best offensive record in the league shows one of the reasons why they find themselves in second place, while their only loss of the season came back in September against Real Madrid. Today’s opponents Atletico Madrid will be no easy task though, with Diego Simeone’s men just seven points behind in third place and they’ll be looking to close that gap in tonight’s game.

Two losses and a draw in their last five league games doesn’t leave Atletico in the best of form coming into this match, and with Girona dropping points in only two of their home games this season we’re backing them to take three points.
