Nigeria v Guinea-Bissau

Friday 24th March, 17:00

Abuja National Stadium

Nigeria are currently three games as a squad without a victory, with their last win coming in the second qualifying match for the African Cup of Nations when they beat São Tomé and Príncipe 10-0.

Both sides come into this fixture unbeaten in their opening two fixtures of the qualifiers, with Nigeria claiming six points from six and Guinea-Bissau with a win and draw.

Victor Osimhen has been in inspiring form this season for Napoli, he has found the back of the net 21 times in 23 Serie A games, also chipping in with four assists.

The Nigerian talisman was the main man for his country in their most recent competitive game, when he scored four times and notched two assists.

Jose Peseiro has opted to give Kingsley Aniagboso and Victor Sochima debut call ups to the international squad, so it will be interesting to see if either will be given the nod against Guinea- Bissau.

The Super Eagles have brilliant talent within their ranks, namely Alex Iwobi, who has been in good form for Everton this season, so he will no doubt have a key role to play in the AFCON, which they are certainly on track to make.

Despite both sides coming into this fixture unbeaten so far in the qualifiers, we expect a comfortable win for Nigeria, and you can get odds of them to win handicap (-1) at 1.38 at Bet9ja.

Osimhen is in red hot form for both club and country, you can get odds of him to score two or more goals at 2.82. Nigeria won 10-0 in their last AFCON qualifier, and you can get odds of 4.30 for them to score in the first 10 minutes.

Bet9ja Odds (at time of writing): Nigeria win: 1.27, Draw: 5.40, Guinea-Bissau win: 11.25
