Wolfsburg vs Freiburg
Wolfsburg enjoyed a lightning-fast start against a red-hot Borussia Mönchengladbach side last weekend, scoring three times inside the opening 34 minutes as Die Wölfe cruised to a 3-1 away win.
Freiburg made good use of Jobe Bellingham’s 53rd-minute red card last weekend, coming from behind to salvage a point against a strong Borussia Dortmund side.
Saturday’s visitors have struggled on the road of late, though, picking up just two points from the last 15 available away from Europa-Park Stadion.
PREDICTION: Wolfsburg to win either halves at 1.64
Stuttgart vs Hoffenheim
Stuttgart ended a three-match winless streak and are one point behind their fifth-placed hosts.
Hoffenheim will be brimming with confidence as they travel to the MHP Arena this weekend. Christian Ilzer’s side scored twice in each half against newly promoted Hamburg in gameweek 14 as they cruised to a 4-1 home win.
This should a game that will provide goals.
PREDICTION: Both teams to score at 1.43
RB Leipzig vs Bayer Levekusen
RB Leipzig were level for just three minutes against Union Berlin after Tidiam Gomis’ equaliser last weekend.
That result ended a three-game unbeaten streak and was a missed opportunity to close the gap to Bayern Munich, who drew against Mainz 05.
Bayer Leverkusen, meanwhile, made no mistake against newly promoted FC Köln as second-half goals from Martin Terrier and Robert Andrich sealed a 2-0 home win.
PREDICTION: Both teams to score at 1.46
Feyenoord vs Twente
Feyenoord return home looking to respond after a chastening 2–0 defeat away to Ajax in De Klassieker.
Twente arrive in Rotterdam with a greater rhythm and fewer scars. John van den Brom’s team have lost just once in their last twelve league matches.
Recent meetings between the sides have tended to produce goals rather than stalemates, even if margins are often tight.
PREDICTION: Both teams to score at 1.52
Brighton vs Sunderland
Brighton’s poor recent run continued at Liverpool as they suffered a third winless game in succession.
Sunderland’s return to the Premier League hit a new high after they toppled bitter rivals Newcastle to move within two points of the Champions League spots.
This is a difficult away game for Sunderland
PREDICTION: Over 1.5 Goals at 1.27
Gil Vicente vs Rio Ave
Gil Vicente seems to be losing momentum after a fantastic start to the season.
Rio Ave have had some difficulties off the pitch, which have carried over onto the pitch – only one win in their last five matches.
This could be an important match for both teams to reverse their current form.
PREDICTION: Gil Vicente to win either halves at 1.42
Tottenham vs Liverpool
Thomas Frank remains under intense pressure after Tottenham turned in another dreadful performance at Nottingham Forest to suffer a fourth league defeat in seven.
Liverpool are far from the team that won the title last season, but two wins and two draws from their last four games represents some sort of progress given how catastrophic their campaign has generally been.
The Reds have scored 15 goals in their last three top-flight games against Tottenham.
PREDICTION: Both teams to score at 1.56
Southampton vs Coventry
Jovon Makama netted a brace for a struggling Norwich side in gameweek 21 as Southampton were condemned to an unexpected away defeat at Carrow Road.
Winger Ephron Mason-Clark was the hero for Coventry last weekend as his second-half opener proved enough to earn all three points against Bristol City.
Southampton defence is weak and Coventry’s shaky at times so this game should produce goals.
PREDICTION: Both teams to score at 1.48
