Our goal is to help the Bet9ja community cash out every weekend, and this time, we’re back with the best over 2.5 games for you to stake your money on.

The midweek action in the UEFA Champions League was electrifying, with goals everywhere.

Now, we return to domestic action in the top five leagues, and just looking at the fixture list across Europe, I can see the potential for goals, goals, and more goals.

Here are the top five games to bet on for over 2.5 goals this weekend:

Bet on all the following tips right here at Bet9ja!

1. Leipzig vs. Leverkusen

No better league to bank on for goals than the German Bundesliga. Last weekend alone, there were 32 goals in 10 matches (an average of 3.2 goals per game), and Leipzig and Leverkusen contributed to 6 of the overall total.

Leverkusen will be seething after losing to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League in midweek, and we expect them to come out guns blazing.

The last three meetings between both sides have featured a total of 15 goals (3-2, 3-2, 3-2). We expect this to be a similar affair, exciting and full of goals.

2. Southampton vs. Newcastle

No one expected Newcastle to lose 4-1 to Bournemouth at home last weekend, especially coming off the back of 9 straight wins.

However, they have a chance to bounce back here, and manager Eddie Howe could not have asked for an easier opponent. Southampton are bottom of the Premier League with 6 points and 50 goals conceded after 22 games.

In fact, the Saints have kept one clean sheet in their last 17 games and have conceded 13 in their last 4 league outings.

Alexander Isak and company will want to make up for their poor performance last weekend, and this could be a huge win.

3. Freiburg vs. Bayern Munich

Vincent Kompany’s Bayern are another team coming off a shock defeat, as they were blown away 3-0 by Feyenoord in the Champions League in midweek. The Bavarians looked completely shell-shocked and devoid of ideas as the Eredivisie side tore through the heart of their defense time and again.

They are up against Freiburg this weekend, and we expect them to bounce back, especially against a Freiburg team that have conceded 8 goals in their last two games and have not kept a clean sheet in this fixture since 2012.

Bayern are also the top-scoring team in the Bundesliga at a rate of 3.1 goals per game, and you can expect the likes of Harry Kane, Jamal Musiala, and Michael Olise to continue that trend here.

4. Tottenham vs. Leicester

These are two teams that can’t defend or keep clean sheets to save their lives. You have to feel for Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou, who is missing most of his senior defenders to injury and watched his side get decimated by a poor Everton side, losing 3-2 to compound what has been a terrible week.

Leicester, on the other hand, have won one in their last 9 across all competitions and have conceded at least 2 goals in all of those games.

Five of the last 6 meetings between both sides have seen at least 3 goals scored, and we firmly believe this could be a goal-fest. Leicester does not have the defense to cope with Spurs’ attack, but could nick a goal themselves.

5. Barcelona vs. Valencia

If you want excitement, look no further than Hansi Flick’s Barcelona, who can thrill and frustrate in equal measure. They came back from 2 goals down to defeat Benfica 5-4 in a thrilling Champions League encounter, three days after a frustrating 1-1 draw against Getafe.

However, the Blaugrana have now scored 22 goals in their last 6 games, and the likes of Raphinha, Lewandowski, and Lamine Yamal ensure there is always the potential for goals.

Valencia will not make it easy, though, and their record of one defeat in their last 7 means you can expect them to give Flick’s men a run for their money.
