This weekend the fourth round of the FA Cup commences, with the chance of several cup giant killings.

Manchester United 1 – 1 Middlesbrough, 2022

Manchester United took a shock exit out of the FA Cup in 2022 when Middlesbrough came to town, after Boro came back from a goal down and eventually beat the Red Devills 8-7 on penalties after Anthony Elanga missed the decisive spot kit.

Chelsea 2-4 Bradford, 2015

League One outfit Bradford City caused arguably the biggest upset in FA Cup history when they travelled to Stamford Bridge and beat English Premier League heavyweights Chelsea, and to add to the story the Blues went two goals ahead in the game.

Sutton United 1-0 Leeds United, 2017

Non-league Sutton United caused a major upset in 2017 when they beat Championship side Leeds United 1-0, thanks to a Jamie Collins penalty in the 53rd minute of the game.

Newport County 2-0 Middlesbrough, 2019

League Two side Newport County impressively saw off Middlesbrough in 2019, after the two sides took part in a 1-1 draw which forced a replay, and then the home side comfortably won 2-0 to progress into the next round, against all odds.

AFC Wimbledon 4-2 West Ham United, 2019

AFC Wimbledon were rock bottom of League One when Premier League side West Ham United came to town, but they progressed into the fifth round of the competition after they beat the Hammers 4-2.
