The English Premier League’s busy schedule continues throughout this weekend with yet another matchday set to take place across Saturday and Sunday, just days after the previous matchday came to a dramatic close as Chelsea beat Manchester United with two stoppage-time goals.
This weekend is likely to host even more moments like this, pitting sides in similar positions across the table against one another as they battle it out to achieve their goals before the end of the season.
The standout game is undeniably Manchester United vs Liverpool on Sunday afternoon, in a game that sees a rematch of the FA Cup tie that Man United fantastically won in the 120th minute nearly three weeks ago. Elsewhere, Man City have the chance to put the pressure on their title rivals as they play against Crystal Palace in the first game of the matchday, while Arsenal have a tough game against Brighton on Saturday evening.
With drama sure to happen in this weekend’s fixtures, we’ve picked out our top tips and booking codes for the upcoming action:
Crystal Palace vs Manchester City
Phil Foden has been in scintillating form for Manchester City for large parts of this season, producing some phenomenal performances all throughout the campaign. Arguably his best came in City’s last outing against Aston Villa though, where Foden grabbed a goal before half-time before adding a further two in the second half to secure his hat-trick and a 4-1 win for his side.
While all three finishes were superb, the pick of the bunch came in the 69th minute when Foden quickly got himself off the floor after a challenge had been put in on him, collected the ball and rifled it into the top right corner, leaving the keeper with no chance.
Foden now has 21 goals and 10 assists this season, five more contributions than he has ever recorded before, and we expect him to continue this fine season with yet another goal here.

Brighton vs Arsenal
Brighton vs Arsenal has produced some excellent matches over the past years, with the Gunners finding this to be one of their tougher fixtures in the Premier League calendar.
Since Brighton’s promotion to the league for the 2017/18 season there have been 14 match-ups between the two sides, 13 in the league and one in the EFL Cup. Arsenal have won just five of these while Brighton have won six, leaving the remainder as draws.
Mikel Arteta’s side did stroll to a 2-0 victory at the Emirates against Brighton earlier this season, and with the Seagulls winning just three of their last nine compared to Arsenal’s seven in nine, we believe Arsenal will win this one.

Wolverhampton Wanderers vs West Ham United
This fixture has been extremely even in recent seasons with Wolves winning six and West Ham being victors in five, with most of these wins coming when the side are playing in their home stadium.
West Ham comfortably won 3-0 in the reverse fixture earlier in the season, but they have failed to beat Wolves at the Molineux Stadium since a 3-2 victory in April 2021.
While both sides are coming into this game in rather patchy form, neither able to put together a string of victories in their recent matches, we believe this one will once again go in favour of the home side with Wolves taking the victory.
