Aston Villa to win, 3.30
Aston Villa vs Arsenal
Aston Villa have been simply exceptional this season, finding themselves in third place after 15 games and recording some hugely impressive wins over Brighton, Tottenham and most recently a dominating win over Manchester City. Recording 22 shots to Man City’s two, Aston Villa were unlucky to only win 1-0 and this will give them a huge amount of confidence leading into their game against league leaders Arsenal.
Arsenal will also be coming into this one on a high after they beat Luton 4-3 thanks to a 97th minute winner by Declan Rice. While this is a fantastic result for Arsenal, the fact that Luton were able to take this game right down to the wire may be a worry for Mikel Arteta going into this game against an Aston Villa side in super form.
This game is sure to be a tight game, but with Aston Villa not losing at home for 14 Premier League games as well as their fantastic performances in recent weeks we’re backing them to take the victory in this one.
Newcastle United to win, 2.75
Tottenham Hotspur vs Newcastle United
Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur have had very similar starts to their seasons, both in positions where they will surely be looking to fight for Champions League spots come the end of the season. This game is likely to show just how similar the quality of these two teams is as well, with it sure to be a tight game between two top sides.
However, Newcastle United’s ability to attack quickly and utilise their wide players is extremely suited to playing against Tottenham’s high line that they have adopted since Ange Postecoglou’s arrival. For this reason, we believe that Newcastle will end up victorious in this one.
Manchester City to win, 1.15
Manchester City vs Luton Town
Manchester City have hit a rare rough patch, with last season’s treble winners only managing one win in their last five games. This has left them with no wins in the Premier League in their last four games and they are coming into this one against Luton after being utterly dominated by Aston Villa on Wednesday.
However, as Manchester City so often do after a poor result they likely come out with a vengeance against a Luton side who are firmly in a relegation battle this season. With this, we fully expect that Man City will show their true quality again in this one and come to a comfortable victory.
Everton to win, 3.20
Everton vs Chelsea
Chelsea have been through a tough beginning to this season under new boss Mauricio Pochettino, with them in 10th spot and incredibly recording more losses than wins. While their overall player quality is without a doubt of a higher standard than Everton, the atmosphere of Goodison Park and the style that Everton play will be a challenge for a Chelsea side who have struggled to break teams down this season. For this reason, we are backing Everton to take the victory come the end of the 90 minutes.
