Matchday 31 certainly supplied some top quality talking points in the English Premier League and we picked our top three moments.
From shock results, long range strikes and more VAR drama, this weekend proved why the top flight in England is the most viewed league in Europe.
Late Drama: Tottenham Hotspur 2-3 AFC Bournemouth
Tottenham Hotspur opened the scoring in the 14th minute via Son Heung-min, but Matias Vina equalised before half-time and then Dominic Solanke gave Bournemouth the lead shortly into the second-half.
Spurs managed to get an equaliser of their own in the 88th minute through ex-Bournemouth player Arnaut Danjuma and they thought they had earned themselves a point. However, Dango Ouattara grabbed a winner in the 95th minute to ensure a vital three points in their attempts to escape relegation.
This defeat for Tottenham now means that they are just three points above Aston Villa and four points above Brighton & Hove Albion, but with the Seagulls having two games in hand, Cristian Stellini could see his side slip down to 6th place.
Wonder strike: Chelsea 1-2 Brighton & Hove Albion
Chelsea took the lead in the 13th minute against the run of play when Conor Gallagher fired home from outside the penalty area, ending a run of four games without a goal for the Blues.
However, the Seagulls got what they deserved and picked up all three points thanks to a Julio Enciso winner in the 69th minute in emphatic style, when he picked the ball up from 30 yards out and cannoned a strike right in the top corner. Brighton’s push towards Europe continues, while Chelsea are left languishing in mid-table obscurity and in danger of finishing in the bottom half.
Dropped points for the Gunners: West Ham United 2-2 Arsenal
Arsenal scored two early goals at the London Stadium, but this was not enough as West Ham came back and ended up drawing the game 2-2. It means for the second week running, Mikel Arteta men let a 2-0 lead slip.
This will certainly be seen as two dropped points from the Gunners, as they are now just four points ahead of Manchester City at the top of the table, having played a game more. With City not looking like they will be dropping points any time soon, the fixture next week at the Etihad Stadium between the two top sides has added importance on who could lift the title come the end of May.
