Wolves’ start to the season means that they slip into the top 10 worst starts, but they have had extremely tough fixtures, so would be hoping to pick up points in the upcoming weeks.

The next side on our list is Everton, when they also picked up just three points from the opening 10 games in 94/95 after losing seven and drawing three.

Swindon also drew three times and lost seven in 93/94, and they conceded a staggering 26 goals in this period.

Man City are the next team on our list, as they managed to pick up just two points from a possible 30 back in 95/96, where they found the back of the net just three times in 10 games.

In 2016, Sunderland found themselves bottom of the pile, when they managed to achieve just two points from a possible 30 and had a horrific goal difference of -13.

Norwich famously had a difficult start to life back in the top flight in 2021, when they went 10 games without a win and had a goal difference of -22, the joint worst ever at that stage of the season.
2. Sheffield United 2020/21
The second worst start in Premier League history came in the 2020/21 campaign, when Sheffield United found themselves with just one point after 10 games and scored just four times along this run.
