The English Premier League is back in action once again this weekend with teams ready to kick off the 10th matchday of the season. We’ve picked out our top five betting tips for the weekends action as well as a booking code for you to look out for.
Some huge games are set to take place, with the standout of the lot clearly being the Manchester derby which takes place at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Tottenham to win, 1.75
Crystal Palace vs Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham have been superb so far this season and rightfully sit top of the table after nine games, two points above last season’s treble winners Manchester City. Having won five of their last six, with the other result being a well earned draw in a hard-fought North London derby, Tottenham will be coming into this game with bags of confidence. With James Maddison and Heung-min Son starting the season in fantastic form with both having contributed to eight goals each so far, we expect these two to take Tottenham to victory once again.
Burnley to win, 3.30
Bournemouth and Burnley have found the start to this season to be a real struggle so far with both sides finding themselves in the relegation zone, meaning this game could be a potential relegation six-pointer come the end of the season. Despite finding it hard to score goals this season, we believe Burnley have shown that little bit more creativity in the final third and back them to take the three points against Bournemouth this weekend.
Gabriel Martinelli to score anytime, 2.50
Since coming back from his injury he sustained against Everton back in September, Gabriel Martinelli has been terrific with the winger scoring twice in three games including a highly important winner against Manchester City.
With Sheffield United having the worst goals conceded record in the Premier League so far, conceding 24 goals in nine games. They have also looked very susceptible to pacey players running in behind their backline, and with Martinelli’s electric speed we can see him utilising this and scoring once again at the weekend.
Mohamed Salah to score anytime, 1.90
Liverpool vs Nottingham Forest
Mohamed Salah has been nothing short of exceptional for Liverpool this season, accumulating the most goals and assists in the Premier League so far with seven goals and four assists. Having scored five in his last five, we firmly expect the magical Egyptian to continue his scoring firm against Nottingham Forest.
Manchester City to win, 1.64
Manchester United vs Manchester City
Manchester City may not have started the season in the form that many would have expected from last seasons treble winners, but they certainly haven’t been bad. 19 goals scored in the opening nine Premier League games and nine goals scored in their three Champions League games shows the attacking prowess that this City side possess. This attack paired with Manchester United’s defensive frailties this season, having conceded 13 in the Premier League and seven in the Champions League, makes us believe Manchester City will win this Manchester derby.
