Which EPL Players Are Leaving Their Clubs After Sunday’s Final Day?

With the final day of the English Premier League coming on Sunday, we picked out five players that have already announced they will be leaving their respective clubs at the end of the campaign.

There are plenty of talented players in the English top flight that are out of contract this summer, so it will be interesting to see who else will leave their clubs as we edge closer to the transfer window.

Raphael Varane, Manchester United

It has recently been announced that Raphaël Varane will leave Manchester United at the end of the season, after he signed for the club from Real Madrid in 2021 and made a total of 67 appearances.

The French defender has somewhat failed to fit in at United since his arrival, where his time at the club has been riddled with injuries and a failure to hit his previous form while at Madrid.

Adam Lallana, Brighton & Hove Albion

Lallana is another player on our list leaving the club his summer, after he made a total of 105 appearances for Brighton, which includes 29 in all competitions this term.

This is no denying that the English midfielder has been on the decline with his inability to play consistent football, so it will be interesting to see where he ends up come the start of the 2024/25 campaign.

Thiago Silva, Chelsea

Experienced defender Thiago Silva has agreed a deal to sign for Brazilian outfit Fluminense at the end of the season on a free transfer from Chelsea, after spending four years at Stamford Bridge.

The Brazilian defender had a successful time in England, after he was pivotal in Chelsea’s UEFA Champions League success in 2021 and notched over 150 appearances for the Blues in all competitions.

Anthony Martial, Manchester United

Anthony Martial caught the eye of many when he signed for United nine years ago, but his time since then has been difficult where he has struggled to find form and picked up numerous injuries along the way.

The French attacker will be available as a free agent in the summer and at 28-years-old, he still has time to turn his career around if a club is willing to take a punt on him.

James Tomkins, Crystal Palace

Tomkins signed for Crystal Palace in 2016 from West Ham United, but it has recently been announced that he is one of the players that will be released at the end of the campaign from the Eagles.

In recent times, the 35-year-old has found regular minutes hard to come by, after making just three appearances in the English top flight this campaign, which means he might either drop down into another league or call it time on his playing career.
