Manchester City find themselves in their first ever Super Cup after they impressively won the UEFA Champions League, beating Inter Milan 1-0 thanks to a goal from Rodri in the second-half.

Here’s an in-depth look at Wednesday’s clash.
Manchester City vs Sevilla
Wednesday 16 August, 20:00
Stadio Georgios Karaiskakis
Manchester City had a great start to their English Premier League campaign when they beat Burnley 3-0 away from home on the opening day, thanks to an Erling Haaland brace and a goal from Rodri.
Both Josko Gvardiol and Mateo Kovacic had to be patient on the opening day as they found themselves on the bench but produced promising performances when they did come on, so could be handed with starts against Sevilla.
It’s going to be hard for City to better last season’s treble but would get off to the perfect start by adding a first Super Cup trophy to their maiden Champions League success of last season.
Sevilla had a disappointing start to their league campaign losing 2-1 against a Valencia side who nearly got relegated out of La Liga last term.
The Spanish side have made three signings so far in this summer transfer window, but it was a nightmare start for Loic Bade who saw red in the 81st minute on his competitive debut.
Sevilla have a terrible Super Cup record, winning just one of six matches, which isn’t a good omen before facing powerhouses Man City.
Bet9ja Tips
It’s extremely difficult to look past a City win here, who are priced up as little as 1.40 at Bet9ja. Sevilla are always hard to play against in Europe but a City 1-0 win is priced up at 7.00 or you can get odds of 6.70 for a 2-0 City victory, and either could be decent shouts.
Haaland started the campaign in firing form, and you can get odds of him to score the first goal of the game at 3.80. Rodri has a knack of scoring important goals, none more so than in the Champions League Final, and is priced up at odds of 8.00 to score his second goal of the season.
Looking at Sevilla, Youssef En-Nesyri scored at the weekend for Sevilla, and for him to have over 1.5 shots on target, you can get odds of 1.90.
Bet9ja Odds (at time of writing): Man City win: 1.40, Draw: 4.90, Sevilla win: 7.90
