The Super Eagles of Nigeria are set to miss out on the services of Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham as he’s reportedly set to pledge his allegiance to the Three Lions of England.
Abraham, who has been in a stunning form for the Blues this season, was approached by the Nigeria Football Federation to commit his international future to the three-time African champions which he declined .
According to The Telegraph, the 21-year-old forward won’t turn down the chance to feature for the Three Lions if he’s included in Gareth Southgate’s squad for next month’s European Championship qualifiers against Czech Republic and Bulgaria.
Southgate is expected to release his squad by Thursday and many Nigerians will hope to see the Chelsea star excluded from the list.
