What More Major Signings To Expect This Summer Transfer Window

There is still plenty of time left in the summer transfer window for more major moves to take place.

The first weekend of the season in the top European leagues has given managers a chance to see where they need to strengthen, which means more big money moves are imminent.

Don’t forget that you can still bet on the next big transfers here at Bet9ja. Below is a list of big transfers we expect to happen before the window closes on 1 September.

Michael Olise, Crystal Palace – Chelsea

Michael Olise has been heavily linked with a move away from Crystal Palace this summer and Chelsea have reportedly activated his £35m release clause.

The 21-year-old is currently injured but he impressed last term with 13 goal contributions in 37 Premier League games so would be a great addition to Mauricio Pochettino’s squad.

After the Blues have activated the release clause, it is now down to whether the player can agree personal terms with the club and the deal could be completed imminently.

Mohammed Kudus, Ajax – West Ham United

Mohammed Kudus has been on the radar of several English Premier League clubs this summer, such as Brighton & Hove Albion and Arsenal but West Ham United are the latest side to show interest.

It looks like Lucas Paqueta could be on his way to Manchester City, so Kudus could come in and act as a direct replacement but the Dutch side are yet to receive an offer from the Hammers.

Reports are suggesting that Kudus could join West Ham even if Paqueta stays, and the duo could form a formidable midfield trio alongside summer signing James Ward-Prowse.

Carlos Baleba, Lille – Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton & Hove Albion are one of the several Premier League clubs who are interested in Carlos Baleba this summer, alongside Newcastle United and Liverpool.

With Moises Caicedo recently leaving the club, Baleba could be the perfect replacement for the Albion and he could cost them £20m if they want to lure him to the club this summer.

Romelu Lukaku, Chelsea – Juventus

Juventus are reportedly the side that are currently leading the race to sign Chelsea outcast Romelu Lukaku in this summer transfer window.

The Belgian striker returned to Chelsea after he spent last term on loan with Inter Milan, where he is not keen on returning after being left out of the starting XI in the Champions League final.

Lukaku has had offers from clubs in Saudi Arabia but is keen to stay in Europe, as he still feels like he can perform at the highest level in the top European competitions.

Lukaku to Juventus odds: 1.50
