Abdulmalik Murtala’s The AVIATOR wins the Bet9ja September league!

After a month in which top spot changed every week, The AVIATOR came out on top after a strong performance in gameweek 7, as many players struggled for points as the likes of Erling Haaland drew a blank against Wolves.

His biggest points of difference were his astute selections of Ben White and Vladimir Coufal in defence – both players contributed offensively with goals and assists as their sides kept clean sheets.

Elsewhere, Ollie Watkins and Heung-Min Son’s goals added crucial points to separate Abdulmarik’s squad from the pack.

Best picks for Gameweek 8

According to Fantasy Football Hub’s AI tool, these are the best players to select this week within the £100m budget – especially if you don’t have them in your squad already.

Erling Haaland is the most picked player in FPL this season – despite not quite hitting the heights of last season yet, he will fancy himself to perform well against Arsenal – a team that he scored twice against last season. His projected point total for this gameweek is 7.5.

Spurs duo Heung-Min Son have both been in stellar form so far this season, and with a fixture against Luton Town this weekend managers will be expecting both players to score big against the newly-promoted side, who played in midweek.

Son is predicted to score 6.7 points, with Maddison getting an expected total of 5.5.

Elsewhere, Mo Salah and Bruno Fernandes make up the top 5 players for the weekend that you should have in your team. Both players are their team’s primary sources of goals and creation, and after a rough week in Europe for Manchester United you can expect Fernandes to be firing on all cylinders to get The Red Devils back in form. Their respective expected totals are 6.0 and 5.9
