This season has seen numerous Nigerian stars announce themselves as some of the biggest talents in the most prestigious European leagues, while others have further proven themselves to be among the continent’s very best players.

Napoli vs Bologna
Victor Osimhen’s season for Napoli may have been heavily interrupted by both injuries and his involvement with the Super Eagles as they devastatingly lost in the Africa Cup of Nations Final, but the striker’s performances have been exceptional throughout the entirety of the campaign.
Osimhen has scored 17 goals in his 30 appearances and he has seemingly hit his best run of form heading into these final matches of the season, netting nine times in 12 games since returning from injury against Barcelona in February.
Most recently Osimhen has scored four in his last five and despite Napoli’s struggles in the league, failing to win any of their last four, we believe the superstar striker will continue his fantastic goalscoring form with a goal in this one.

Ademola Lookman has backed up a fantastic debut campaign for Atalanta last year with another brilliant campaign this time around, managing to hit double digits in goals in back-to-back seasons after failing to ever do so prior to his move to Italy.
Despite failing to reach the heights of last year early on in this campaign, Lookman has massively improved in recent weeks, scoring or assisting in four of the last six games, including the crucial opening goal in his side’s eventual 3-0 win over Marseille to book their place in the Europa League final.
This form, as well as Atalanta’s positive run heading into the upcoming game with Roma, leads us to believe that Lookman will get on the scoresheet once again for his side and continue his goalscoring run.
