After an exciting week of UEFA Champions League action, this weekend provides even more chances to smash our value bets.

Here are our five best picks.

Chelsea vs Tottenham

This game has goals written all over it, as Chelsea, who score goals for fun but can’t defend, take on Tottenham, who have struggled to keep just two clean sheets in nine games this season.

Chelsea will be confident of victory here, which would extend their run of wins against Spurs to seven games and serve as a statement win for Xabi Alonso’s men.

  • Six of Chelsea’s last seven home games featured both teams on the scoresheet
  • Chelsea have kept just one clean sheet in their last 15 Premier League matches.

Pick: Both teams to score and over 2.5 goals @1.67

Barcelona vs Real Madrid

The first Clasico of the year is here, and both teams head into this in fine scoring form. Barcelona had a setback against PSG in midweek, perhaps the best wake-up call ahead of a game of this magnitude.

Prior to that defeat, Hansi Flick’s men had won all 10 games to start the season and have scored 50 goals across all competitions. Real Madrid are six points behind Barca but have won their last four games, making this clash even more intriguing.

  • Barcelona have won six of the last seven Clasicos.
  • Real Madrid have scored 12 goals in their last three matches.

Pick: Barcelona to win and both teams to score (GG) @2.16

Liverpool vs Brighton

Brighton have been on fire to start the season, winning five of their opening seven league games, including last weekend’s 5-0 win over Crystal Palace.

They travel to Anfield this weekend in what should be a tasty attacking spectacle, with Liverpool scoring and conceding goals for fun. The Reds have scored 12 goals in their last four games but conceded 10 along the way, making this potentially a high-scoring affair.

  • Liverpool have conceded 10 goals in their last four games.
  • Brighton have scored 10 goals in their last three league games.

Pick: Both teams to score and over 2.5 goals @1.64

Leipzig vs Elversberg

Leipzig will be desperate to put a horrible week behind them after losing 6-1 and 4-1 to Bayern Munich and Real Madrid in the space of four days. A home fixture against newcomers Elversberg will certainly provide some respite for Leipzig, who have won their last eight Bundesliga games at home.

The visitors should make things interesting, as they have scored 12 goals in the league while keeping just one clean sheet.

  • Leipzig have scored 15 goals in four home games this season.
  • Elversberg have only failed to score once in six games.

Pick: Leipzig to win and both teams to score (GG) @2.19

Freiburg vs Bayern Munich

This is the game of the weekend in the Bundesliga, with two impressive teams going head-to-head. Bayern are top of the table, but just one point separates them from third-placed Freiburg, who have lost just once in 11 games across all competitions.

However, as Bayern showed against Leipzig last weekend, they can turn up the heat against the biggest threats in the Bundesliga. This will be a big test for Vincent Kompany’s men, and we believe there will be plenty of goals

  • Bayern beat Freiburg home and away last season, scoring nine goals.
  • Freiburg have scored in every single game this season.

Pick: Over 3.5 total goals @1.59
