Chelsea travel to Anfield on Sunday to take on Liverpool in the English Premier League and this fixture is always a tasty affair.

Liverpool were in the title race back in 2014, until Mr Reliable Steven Gerrard slipped and gifted Chelsea a goal.

Garcia ‘Ghost goal’ – May 2005
Liverpool earned a place in the Champions League Final in 2005, when they beat Chelsea 1-0 on aggregate thanks to a Luis Garcia goal.
The goal was a memorable one and was labelled as a ‘ghost goal’, as Garcia prodded the ball ‘home’ but there was major controversy as the ball was seemingly cleared off the line by William Gallas.
Action packed 4-4 – April 2009
Probably the most iconic match the two sides have partaken in came back in 2009 in the Champions League, when they battled it out in a 4-4 draw.

Chelsea went into the Champions League semi-final second leg needing a win, and it was always going to be an emotional fixture for Frank Lampard due to his mother passing away just six days prior.
Lampard had the opportunity to send his side to the final with a penalty, where he fired home and celebrated by kissing his badge and pointing to the sky.
