5 Anytime Goalscorer Bets for the UEFA Champions League This Week

However, we are confident of our picks this week, and as always, remember to pick the best three for maximum results. 

Here are our five goalscorer bets for this week’s UEFA Champions League action.

 Kylian Mbappe vs Manchester City 

Real Madrid are coming off a shocking home defeat against Celta Vigo, one that could potentially cost Xabi Alonso his job unless things improve drastically. They have a chance to bounce back against a resurgent Manchester City side in the UCL this week. 

The winner of this game is anyone’s guess, but we believe Real will have enough to breach City’s shaky defense that has kept just two clean sheets in the last nine matches.  

Kylian Mbappe was caged against Celta but is unlikely to go two games without scoring after hitting seven goals in his last four games prior to last weekend.

Ferran Torres vs Eintracht Frankfurt 

Barcelona look to be back to their attacking best, and they put five past Real Betis at the weekend to prepare for this week’s clash against Eintracht Frankfurt. This is a perfect chance for the Blaugrana to move closer to qualification for the knockout stage against a Frankfurt side that were battered at the weekend by Leipzig. 

Our goalscorer pick for this one is Ferran Torres. The Barca forward is in sparkling form, and his hat-trick against Betis took his recent run to six goals in his last five games.  

There was some deliberation over who to pick for this one, with Lamine Yamal also in fine form, but we expect Torres to retain his place and find the net again.

Victor Osimhen vs Monaco 

Galatasaray needed a last-minute winner from Victor Osimhen to beat Samsunspor at the weekend, and that was a much-needed result after losing two of their last four games.  

They travel to France to face Monaco this week, and getting results in France has proven difficult for the Turkish side, who have won just two of their previous eleven away contests in Europe against Ligue 1 opposition. Thankfully, we are concerned with goals, and no one guarantees goals at this level better than Osimhen. 

The Nigerian is the UCL’s second top scorer this season with six goals, netting in each of his last eight appearances in major European competitions.

Harry Kane vs Sporting 

Bayern Munich suffered a 3-1 loss at Arsenal on matchday five, having previously won all four games while scoring 14 goals. 

Sporting have ten points from their first five games, and they should pose a threat, which could see goals flow at the Allianz Arena. 

Bayern’s home record reads well, with 34 wins and two draws in the last 36 group stage/league phase games at the Allianz Arena. 

They have scored seven goals in two games here in the UCL, and our goalscorer pick is Harry Kane. Bayern’s main man scored a second-half hat-trick at the weekend, and we are backing him to add to his tally of 28 goals in 22 games.

Lautaro Martinez vs Liverpool 

Inter will approach this tie with plenty of confidence, especially when you consider Liverpool’s leaky defense and inability to keep clean sheets, just two in their last 10 games.  

This is probably the best time to face the Reds, who squandered a two-goal lead against Leeds at the weekend and could be without star player Mohamed Salah.  

Inter are on a three-game winning streak, which includes Saturday’s 4-0 home demolition of Como in Serie A. 

Our pick to score here is Lautaro Martinez. The Inter striker has five goals in his last five games and has been the catalyst for the Nerazzuri’s return to form.
