5 Goalscorer Bets To Help You Win Cash This Weekend

After the absolute goalscoring extravaganza we experienced in the Nations League this week, and the tasty treat served up by the internationals, we return to domestic action, looking to follow up on our success of two weekends ago.

The goal is to cover five out of five, and we have done our research to provide you with the best possible picks to boost your chances of winning.

Here are our top five goalscorer picks for this weekend’s action and you can bet on all five right here at Bet9ja! (odds at time of writing)

Ousmane Dembele vs Saint Etienne

PSG remain in contention for an historic quadruple, and they can secure the Ligue 1 title this weekend should results elsewhere go their way. Confirmation of their title triumph is only a matter of time, as Luis Enrique’s men begin the weekend with a commanding 19-point lead, and still unbeaten after 26 league matches (W21, D5).

Ousmane Dembélé has been a huge factor in PSG’s unbelievable season. The former Barcelona man has scored 30 goals in 37 appearances this season, including 9 in his last 10.

Saint-Etienne haven’t beaten PSG in their last 27, and we expect that run to continue this weekend.

Kylian Mbappe vs Leganes

Real Madrid simply can’t afford to drop any points at this stage of the season, or risk watching Barcelona disappear in the title race. They are back in action with a home game against Leganés, looking to keep the momentum going after defeating Villarreal just before the international break.

Last time both teams met, Real scored a 93rd-minute goal to win 3-2 in the Copa del Rey quarterfinals, and we could see another goal-fest here. Kylian Mbappé had a mediocre showing with France over the past week, but he remains as lethal as ever for Los Blancos.

He has 20 league goals and averages an impressive 4.5 shots per game, making him an excellent pick to score anytime here.

Viktor Gyokeres vs Estrela

Sporting CP travel to Estrela this weekend, eager to extend their four-game winning run and maintain their spot at the top of the table. Benfica are breathing down their necks, with just three points separating both teams, making this a must-win.

Sporting have one major thing going in their favour: they possess the best player in Portugal and one of Europe’s hottest strikers in Viktor Gyökeres.

The 27-year-old has six goals in his last five games and 40 goals in 41 games. That type of goal-scoring record is almost impossible to ignore, and against an Estrela team with just one win in their last 10 games, we expect Gyökeres to extend his remarkable scoring run in a comfortable Sporting win.

Harry Kane vs St Pauli

Bayern Munich entered the international break on shaky ground, failing to win two successive Bundesliga fixtures, and their lead over reigning champions Bayer Leverkusen has been cut to just six points.

Vincent Kompany’s men face a tricky test against St. Pauli this weekend, and despite the visitors’ relegation struggles, they proved a tough nut to crack in the reverse fixture, which Bayern won 3-2. Bayern need to win this game to avoid looking over their shoulders, and to maintain momentum.

Harry Kane, fresh from scoring in both of England’s recent internationals, will be counted on to provide the attacking spark, and no one needs a trophy more than the 31-year-old. Expect him to help Bayern rediscover their winning form.

Marco Asensio vs Preston

Aston Villa are in a great position right now, fighting for success in multiple competitions. Their next challenge is a trip to Preston in the FA Cup quarter-finals, and having failed to win a trophy since 1996, this is a huge opportunity for the Midlands club.

Unai Emery has a deep squad to pull from, and there could be a few changes for this one. However, one player who’s been making waves is Marco Asensio. He’s scored seven goals in eight games since joining on loan from PSG, including two against Cardiff in the last round.

While there’s no guarantee of Emery’s preferred line-up for this game, we think Asensio could provide excellent value.
