Ronaldo smartly turned in the Welshman’s cross from close range in a season where Real Madrid would finally lay claim on the UEFA Champions League after a 12 year drought.
- 500th Goal:
On September 30, 2015, Ronaldo scored his 500th career goal during a Champions League group stage match against Malmö FF. He found the net with a close-range finish after a fast counter-attack and later added a second goal. His brace ensured a 2-0 win for Real Madrid, a vital result in their European campaign.
- 600th Goal:
Ronaldo’s 600th goal came on June 3, 2017, during the Champions League Final against Juventus. He scored the opening goal with a composed finish from inside the box, giving Real Madrid the lead. He added another later in the match, contributing to Madrid’s 4-1 win. His goals were pivotal in helping the club secure their 12th Champions League title.
- 700th Goal:
On October 14, 2019, Ronaldo reached 700 career goals while playing for Portugal in a Euro 2020 qualifier against Ukraine. He converted a penalty to pull one back for Portugal in a game they eventually lost 2-1. Although it wasn’t enough to change the result, the goal was a significant personal milestone in his international career.

Ronaldo scored his 800th career goal on December 2, 2021, during a Premier League match for Manchester United against Arsenal.
