Pope has been one of the most consistent keepers so far, with Newcastle boasting four clean sheets from six games. A home tie against Nottingham Forest – who have failed to win any of their six under Ange Postecoglou and looked toothless going forward – is a prime chance for more returns.
Gabriel (Arsenal, £6.2m)
Back among the goals with a dramatic late winner at St James’ Park last week, Gabriel remains Arsenal’s most dangerous threat at set-pieces. West Ham have conceded more shots from dead-ball situations than anyone else this season, making the centre-back a smart defensive and attacking play.
Dan Burn (Newcastle, £5.0m)
Newcastle’s top FPL scorer so far thanks to clean sheets and defensive contributions. Against Forest at St James’ Park, Burn looks nailed for another big return, and he’s also capable of nicking points from set-pieces with his aerial presence.
Marcos Senesi (Bournemouth, £4.9m)
The surprise FPL gem in defence this season. Senesi has already delivered three clean sheets and two assists, and is the only player in the game to record defensive contribution points in every match so far. Fulham at home offers another opportunity to extend that record.
Ismaila Sarr (Crystal Palace, £6.4m)
Sarr returned from injury last week with a bang, scoring the winner and hauling 11 points. With three goals in just four matches and some of the best xG numbers among midfielders, the Palace winger is a dangerous differential. Everton away is tricky, but Sarr has already shown he can score against top sides.
Bukayo Saka (Arsenal, £9.8m)
Even with limited minutes lately, Saka remains Arsenal’s talisman and is finding his form again. West Ham at home is an inviting fixture, and with penalties in his locker and a strong run of games ahead, the England international is a near-essential FPL pick this week.

Antoine Semenyo (Bournemouth, £7.8m)
The form midfielder in FPL. Semenyo has averaged 8 points per game and leads the league for shots in the box and big chances created by midfielders. Facing Fulham at home, he has another perfect chance to deliver.
Yankuba Minteh (Brighton, £5.9m)
Minteh has three consecutive returns (one goal, two assists) and continues to grow into Brighton’s attacking system. Wolves have conceded three or more in every home game this season – so Minteh is a low-cost option who could haul again.
Erling Haaland (Manchester City, £14.4m)
A midweek Champions League brace took Haaland to 11 goals in 8 games across all competitions. Brentford at home is another fixture where he could explode, and there’s no safer captain choice in GW7.
Viktor Gyökeres (Arsenal, £9.0m)
Gyökeres has scored all three of his goals this season at the Emirates, making him a true home specialist. With Arsenal generating more set-piece goals than any other side, his presence in the box against West Ham is likely to bring more points.
Wilson Isidor (Sunderland, £5.6m)
One of the best-value forwards in FPL. Three goals already this season, and his minutes continue to rise. United’s leaky defence makes him a cheeky punt this weekend — especially at his price.
