Mike is popularly known as a proud athlete who has represented Nigeria in international competitions. However not many people know the struggle he had to go through in making this a reality.
Before representing Nigeria in competitions, Mike used to represent the UK which caused an issue for him when he tried representing Nigeria in a competition in Australia last year. While speaking with Omashola he continued his story saying he was banned when he wanted to represent Nigeria in Australia because he had represented another country in the past.
He immediately went on a one man silent protest which helped solve his problems and has gone on to represent Nigeria in many other competitions.
