Arsenal head into this clash against West Ham as the overwhelming favourites to secure all three points and keep applying the pressure on current league leaders Liverpool, who are going into the weekend’s action just two points ahead of the Gunners.
While the Hammers did look significantly improved in their 1-1 draw with Everton in their first match under Nuno Espirito Santo, Arsenal are in superb form, unbeaten in their last six across all competitions.

Chelsea vs Liverpool
Chelsea and Liverpool will both be aiming to end poor runs of form when they meet at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, with the hosts having lost two and drawn one of their last three league games, while the visitors have lost each of their last two games across all competitions.
Despite the lacklustre form of both sides, the added motivation of playing against one of the best sides in the Premier League should mean the quality is significantly increased in this match, and we expect a thrilling encounter.
However, the Reds will be desperate to secure all three points and avoid handing their first-placed spot to Arsenal, and with their undeniable quality making them a stronger outfit than their hosts, we expect Liverpool to win this one.

Newcastle United vs Nottingham Forest
Newcastle United will be looking to build on their stunning 4-0 Champions League win over USG when they take on Nottingham Forest, who have struggled to adapt to life under new boss Ange Postecoglou.
The new manager has failed to win any of his first five matches in charge at the time of writing, including two defeats from three Premier League outings, and with a tough trip to St James’ Park up next, that underwhelming streak is expected to continue.

Brentford vs Manchester City
Erling Haaland is enjoying a sensational start to the 2025/26 campaign, with the striker already boasting 11 goals in eight appearances across all competitions for Manchester City, as well as 15 in his last eight games for club and country.
The Norwegian has now netted back-to-back braces for Man City, against Burnley and AS Monaco, and the striker will be confident of repeating that achievement once again against Brentford.
While the Bees will be boosted by their recent win over Manchester United, Brentford have looked vulnerable defensively this campaign, including conceding 11 goals in six Premier League matches, and with that in mind, we expect Haaland to capitalise and score here.
