SATURDAY 3 OCTOBER

CROATIA VS ENGLAND

Croatia and England meet again after their entertaining 4-2 clash at the 2026 World Cup, where both sides found the net twice in the first half. Croatia have since shown mixed form, while England come into this game after scoring in each of their recent matches, including a 3-2 win over Spain and a 2-0 victory against the Czech Republic.

The recent meetings between these sides have produced goals, with England winning the last three encounters, including the 4-2 World Cup victory. Croatia will also have home advantage in Rijeka, and with both teams possessing enough attacking quality to cause problems, another lively contest could be on the cards.

PREDICTION – Both teams to score @ 1.60 odds

SPAIN VS CZECH REPUBLIC

Spain come into this clash in excellent form, winning their opening two Nations League matches against England and Croatia while scoring seven goals across the two games. Their latest 4-1 win over Croatia showed their attacking quality once again, while the Czech Republic have struggled, losing both of their opening matches and scoring just once.

The recent numbers also point towards a game with plenty of attacking intent, as three of Spain and the Czech Republic’s last five matches have produced at least three goals. Spain have scored 12 goals across their last five, while the Czech Republic have conceded nine in that period, setting up an interesting contest in Oviedo.

PREDICTION – Over 2.5 goals @ 1.28 odds

SUNDAY 4th OCTOBER

KOSOVO VS AUSTRIA

Kosovo head into this one after a goalless draw against Israel, while Austria were held to a 2-2 draw by the Republic of Ireland. Austria have been among the goalscorers in recent games, scoring three against both Kosovo and Israel, while Kosovo have also shown they can find the net, including in their 3-1 defeat to Austria last week.

The previous meeting between the sides finished 3-1 to Austria, with Kosovo scoring late through Edon Zhegrova. With Kosovo now at home in Pristina and both sides capable of creating chances, this could be another game where both attacks have their say in the outcome.

PREDICTION – Both teams to score @ 1.65 odds

PORTUGAL VS NORWAY

Portugal come into this clash in strong scoring form, beating Norway 2-1 in Oslo before producing a 4-2 victory away to Denmark. Norway have also been involved in high-scoring games, with their last three Nations League matches ending 3-2, 1-2 and 1-2.

The reverse fixture in September produced three goals, with Portugal coming from behind to beat Norway 2-1 after Erling Haaland had equalised for the hosts. With both sides showing plenty of attacking quality and recent games regularly producing goals, another lively encounter could be on the cards in Porto.

PREDICTION – Over 2.5 goals @ 1.47 odds

WALES VS DENMARK

Wales will be looking to respond after losing their opening two Nations League games against Portugal and Denmark, before getting a 2-1 win over Norway. Denmark have also been involved in goals recently, beating Wales 2-0 before a 4-2 defeat to Portugal.

The previous meeting between these sides ended 2-0 to Denmark, but Wales have now returned home and will be looking to make their attacking chances count. With Denmark showing they can score and concede goals in this campaign, this could be a much more competitive encounter with both sides finding the net.

PREDICTION – Both teams to score @ 1.63 odds

GREECE VS GERMANY

Greece come into this meeting unbeaten in their opening three Nations League games, drawing 2-2 with the Netherlands after previously beating Serbia and Germany. Germany, meanwhile, bounced back from their 1-0 defeat to Greece by beating Serbia 2-0, giving them four points from their first three matches.

The reverse fixture ended 1-0 to Greece, but Germany created plenty of possession and chances before being punished by a late goal. With Greece now playing at home and Germany needing a response, both sides have enough attacking quality to make this a competitive encounter with goals at both ends.

PREDICTION – Both teams to score @ 1.60 odds
