Max Dowman scored twice as Arsenal beat Ipswich Town 4-2 in the EFL Cup, with the 16-year-old producing two composed finishes on his first appearance of the season. He became only the second 16-year-old to score twice in a match for a Premier League club, after Wayne Rooney.

Things did not immediately click for Franco Mastantuono at Real Madrid, but his loan spell at Fiorentina could prove to be exactly what the Argentine needed.
The teenager produced his biggest statement yet with a hat-trick in Fiorentina’s 4-2 victory over Venezia. At 19 years and 28 days, Mastantuono became the youngest Argentine to score a hat-trick in one of Europe’s top five leagues, breaking a record previously held by Lionel Messi.
9. Luka Vuskovic – Brighton

Ayyoub Bouaddi has already packed an extraordinary amount into his career for an 18-year-old.

Few young players made a bigger move this summer than Yan Diomande, with Real Madrid paying a reported €125m plus add-ons to sign the 19-year-old winger from RB Leipzig on a seven-year deal.
