The Homecoming – Cristiano Ronaldo’s return to Manchester United

May 27th 2009, the Stadio Olimpico Rome, the day and place in which Cristiano Ronaldo last pulled on a Manchester United shirt. That night ended in disappointment as Barcelona ran out 2-0 victors in the Champions League final. However, an abundance of success had came before with even more following on there after. August 27th 2021 the day Cristiano Ronaldo re-joins Manchester United looking to reignite the flame that lay dormant for 12 years , in his words “I’m here again to win, to make history.”
