Bayern Munich vs Lazio – Victor’s pick: 2-0
This is a real standout fixture this week – Bayern Munich look on the ropes at the moment, with Bayer Leverkusen seemingly running away with the Bundesliga after years of dominance from Bayern.
The UEFA Champions League sees like their only logical path to a trophy this season, and the first leg didn’t go their way against Lazio. However, the Allianz Arena is a tough place to visit – I see them getting the job done and making their way past Lazio on aggregate.
Real Sociedad vs Paris Saint Germain – Victor’s pick: 1-1
PSG find themselves in a solid position going into this second leg – 2-0 up is a position I don’t expect them to relinquish. Real Sociedad play nice football and at home will want to put a good performance in front of their fans – I see a draw in this one and PSG to go through.
Real Madrid vs RB Leipzig – Victor’s pick: 2-0
Real Madrid are taking a 1-0 advantage into their home fixture against RB Leipzig – I think they possess simply far too much quality to not easily beat the German side. A straightforward 2-0 win is my prediction, with Los Blancos heading to yet another quarter-final.
Manchester City vs Copenhagen – Victor’s pick: 3-1
Manchester City won 3-1 away in Denmark and look in prime position to retain their UEFA Champions League title. I can’t see any result other than City having far too much quality for Copenhagen and securing another 3-1 win to progress.
