There was a host of exciting international matches over the past week, with some great goals scored.

A mix of friendlies and qualifiers took place over the past week, and the later saw Ukraine, Poland and Georgia all book their place at the upcoming European Championship.

Here’s the best four goals scored from this week’s internationals:

Lorenzo Pellegrini

Italy 2-0 Ecuador

Italy hosted Ecuador in a friendly on Sunday and the home side won the game 2-0, but the main talking point from the match was Pellegrini’s emphatic opener in the third minute of the match.

Dimarco took a free-kick which was consequently blocked by the wall, and then on the follow-up, Pellegrini hit a thunderbolt into the top corner from 25-yards out into the top corner.

Youri Tielemans

England 2-2 Belgium, (second goal)

England and Belgium battled it out at Wembley Stadium last night in an exciting 2-2 draw, where Jude Bellingham grabbed a last minute equaliser for the hosts.

However, the goal of the game was scored by Youri Tielemans after Romelu Lukaku expertly whipped a pinpoint cross with the outside of his boot on a plate for Youri Tielemans who found the back of the net with a diving header.

Yassine Benzia

Algeria 3-3 South Africa

It was a goal fest in the Algeria versus South Africa match, with six goals on display in the game and Benzia scored a miraculous goal that could be in contention for the Puskas award.

The Algerian flicked the ball up and on the turn, scored a brilliant over-head kick into the South African net, which was a goal that will be talked about for years to come.

Dani Olmo

Spain 3-3 Brazil

Dani Olmo scored Spain’s second goal against Brazil in brilliant style, after he showed intricate footwork inside the penalty area to beat his man, and then fired the ball home with his left-foot into the back of the net.
