Lionel Messi vs Egypt
Argentina cruised through their group but struggled badly against Cape Verde in the Round of 32, and were lucky to advance. Egypt reached this stage with just one win in four games, but will certainly be just as tough as Cape Verde, something Argentina must be wary of.
Everything Argentina do in attack is built around Lionel Messi, and his return of 17 goals and assists in his last 11 games makes him an excellent pick to produce again.

Luis Diaz vs Switzerland
Colombia have been very impressive so far and look like genuine dark horses to win the tournament. They should have scored even more than the 5 goals they have so far, but they have been a little wasteful with their finishing.
They had 24 attempts against Portugal and then 20 shots against Ghana with just one goal to show for it. However, while Switzerland will not be pushovers, they have conceded in 5 of their last 6 games, and we are backing Colombia to score.

Kylian Mbappe vs Morocco
This is a repeat of the 2022 semi-final, and once again France are favourites to advance despite Morocco’s impressive run to this stage. France have scored 14 goals in 5 matches so far, but they struggled to break down Paraguay in the Round of 16.
However, Morocco will certainly play a more open style, which should afford Les Bleus’ attackers plenty of chances.

Erling Haaland vs England
Norway come into this game full of confidence after beating the mighty Brazil to advance to their first-ever quarterfinal. They will now face England, who endured the Azteca altitude and a red card to defeat Mexico 3-2.
This game will be billed as Harry Kane vs Haaland, and while both men are in incredible form, Haaland has scored in 14 consecutive games for Norway and looks utterly unstoppable.
