5 Betting Tips For UEFA Champions League Matchday 2

The second round of UEFA Champions League games take place this week with a wide range of enticing fixtures happening involving the best teams across Europe. Among these fixtures are standout games such as SSC Napoli hosting Real Madrid and RB Leipzig playing reigning champions Manchester City.

Here’s what to look out for on Matchday 2:

Jude Bellingham to score anytime, 4.30 (at time of writing)

SSC Napoli vs Real Madrid

Jude Bellingham has started off his Real Madrid career better than anyone could have expected as the Englishman started his season with six goals in the first seven games in all competitions. With Bellingham playing further forward for his new side, we can see him continuing his form and scoring yet again against Napoli.

Manchester United to win, 1.47

Manchester United vs Galatasaray

Manchester United have had a tough start to their season, with their performances being rather lacklustre so far this season. However, under Erik ten Hag their form at Old Trafford has been rather remarkable having only recently lost their for the first time against Brighton & Hove Albion following a 31 game unbeaten streak.

Because of their strength at home, we fancy Manchester United to beat Galatasaray in this one.

Kylian Mbappe to score anytime, 2.20

Newcastle United vs PSG

Kylian Mbappe has been on red hot form in the early parts of this season with the Frenchman scoring seven goals in five Ligue 1 appearances, equivalent to one every 49 minutes. A penalty goal in the Champions League opener against Borussia Dortmund takes his tally to eight for the season. With goalscoring form like this, we don’t expect Newcastle will be able to stop him from getting his goal.

Manchester City to win, 1.65

RB Leipzig vs Manchester City

Manchester City and RB Leipzig have both had strong starts to their respective league campaigns, scoring plenty of goals and conceding very few so both sides should be going into this game with bags of confidence. However, the haunting memories Leipzig will have of their 7-0 defeat to Manchester City last season, alongside with the overwhelming quality Man City possess may prove to be too much for Leipzig to handle.

Borussia Dortmund to win, 2.40

Borussia Dortmund vs Milan

This could be arguably the tightest fixture of matchday 2 with both sides seeming evenly matched in so many aspects so far this season. We believe the deciding factor in this one may well be the fact that the game takes place at the Signal Iduna Park, where Borussia Dortmund have been so strong in recent games. With Dortmund currently enjoying a 20 game unbeaten run at home, we expect they will continue this against Milan.
