Newcastle United host PSG in the group stage of the Champions League on Tuesday night at St James’ Park and we took a closer look at how the exciting clash could unfold.
The Magpies come into this fixture on the back of a comfortable 2-0 victory against Burnley in the Premier League, thanks to goals from Miguel Almiron and Alexander Isak.
Whilst PSG took part in a goalless draw against bottom of the table Clermont Foot on their last outing, a result that Luis Enrique will certainly not be happy with.

After a slow start to the 2023/24 campaign, the Magpies have since steadied the ship as they find themselves five games unbeaten in all competitions.
Alexander Isak has been the man in the goals for Newcastle in recent times, after he has found the back of the net three times in his last three games.
Eddie Howe’s side faced a tough test on their opening game in the Champions League this season against AC Milan away from home, but the English boss will be happy with how his side played to come away with a point.
PSG have had a below par start to the season for their usual standards, as they have won three times, drawn three times and lost once from their opening seven games.
Despite the lack of form from the French side, Kylian Mbappe has not struggled in front of goal as he has found the back of the net an impressive seven times in six league games.
Enrique’s side started the Champions League campaign on a positive note after they beat Borussia Dortmund 2-0 at home, and he will be hoping they can continue this form against Newcastle in the second fixture of the competition.
