With the UEFA Champions League semi-final first legs past us, we look forward to tonight’s Europa League and Europa Conference League semi-final matches.
There is a host of talented sides featuring across both competitions, and we picked our top three things for you to look out for.
West Ham to go all out
West Ham have almost confirmed English Premier League status for next season, currently sitting seven points above the drop zone with three games left to play.
This means that David Moyes can turn his full attention to the Europa Conference League, and hopefully for the Hammers faithful, bringing home a European trophy to amend a poor season in the Premier League.
Although the Hammers come into this match as firm favourites with odds of 1.66 (at time of writing) for them to win at Bet9ja, Alkamaar will certainly not make things easy for the English side with a place in the final up for grabs.
Sevilla to continue shock results?
Sevilla managed to get to semi-finals of the Europa League after knocking out arguably the favourites Manchester United in the quarter-finals, winning 5-2 on aggregate.
The Spanish side come into the semi-finals against Juventus as underdogs again, with odds of more than 5.00 for them to win the first leg, so they will have to produce a strong performance over both legs in order to progress to the final.
Jose Luis Mendilibar’s side have had a season below par as they currently sit 11th in La Liga, but they have a chance to redeem things on the European stage.
Mourinho to carry on European success?
Jose Mourinho guided Roma to win the Conference League last season, and he will have his eyes firmly set on continuing his European success this term in the Europa League.
However, the Portuguese boss will know that progressing to the final of this competition will be a greater task than last term, with the level of opponent being significantly better. But all eyes will be on to see if the legendary manager can add to his cabinet of European trophies.
