European Semi-Finals: Who Are Favourites to Reach the Final?

We’re down to the business end of the European season, and across all three competitions, the race for the final is wide open.

From record-breaking Champions League drama to tight, tactical Europa League battles, the first legs have already given us plenty to work with. Now, the odds are starting to tell the story.

Champions League – Arsenal Lead the Way

The Champions League semi-finals have already delivered chaos.

PSG’s incredible 5-4 win over Bayern Munich has left that tie finely balanced, while Atletico Madrid and Arsenal played out a tense 1-1 draw that could go either way in the second leg.

Despite that, Arsenal are currently favourites at 1.42 to reach the final. Their unbeaten run in the competition and defensive solidity continue to stand out.

Bayern Munich (1.88) and PSG (1.93) are almost level, which tells you everything about how open that tie remains after a record-breaking first leg.

Atletico Madrid sit at 2.90, but with their experience in knockout football and home resilience, they are far from out of it.

This is shaping up to be one of the most unpredictable Champions League finishes in recent years.

Europa League – Forest Edge Ahead

In the Europa League, the all-English semi-final has taken centre stage.

Nottingham Forest hold a narrow advantage after a 1-0 win over Aston Villa in the first leg, and that is reflected in the odds with Forest at 1.63 to reach the final.

Villa are still very much in it at 2.19, especially with the second leg at Villa Park, and with Unai Emery’s European pedigree, they remain a serious threat.

In the other semi-final, Braga lead Freiburg 2-1 and are favourites at 1.59, while Freiburg are close behind at 2.26.

Both ties remain tight, and with one-goal margins, there is still plenty of football to be played.

Europa Conference League: Palace in Control

Crystal Palace have taken a huge step towards the final.

Their 3-1 away win over Shakhtar has effectively made them overwhelming favourites, with odds no longer available reflecting just how strong their position is heading into the second leg.

In the other semi-final, Rayo Vallecano lead Strasbourg and are favourites at 1.52, with the French side at 2.38 needing a response at home.

Shakhtar, now at 20.00, face a near-impossible task.

Palace, though, look set to complete a remarkable run and could be on course for another major trophy.
