Manchester United have reportedly entered talks with Spurs  over a potential £50m transfer for midfielder Christian Eriksen  ahead of tomorrow’s transfer deadline.

Spurs are willing to part ways with Eriksen, who only has one year left on his contract, in order to use the money from his sale to fund a move for Bruno Fernandes.

United have also been heavily linked with Fernandes, with Solskjaer yet to add to the squad’s midfield reinforcements this summer.

However, according to the Independent, United’s attention has switched to Eriksen, with the Red Devils confident they can strike a £50m deal for the Dane over the next 48 hours.

It is claimed that Eriksen, although initially reluctant to complete the switch to Old Trafford, is now keen on moving up north after growing more resolved in his desire to leave Spurs this summer.
